About the Artist

Hi! I'm Rebecca, the artist behind Trails and Treasures RD.

I lived the first few years of my life in sunny California, and then did most of my growing up in the farmlands of central Illinois, where I still live.

I have a Master's in mechanical engineering with a focus in mechanical system design, which probably helps with attention to detail and "how will this metal move" aspects of jewelry making. I am really enjoying this as a creative outlet and love being able to share it with you! I also really like pretty rocks.

My hobbies include hanging out with my 2 cats, Oola and Jack, reading, playing board games and video games, hiking, camping, and trail riding on horseback.

I have been to a number of national parks around the country camping and trail riding, which is where the "Trails" part of my name comes from. I hope to incorporate some of the landscapes into available prints in the future.
